Kitseguecla Bridge Rehabilitation, Hazelton, BC

Located west of, Hazelton along Highway 16 in northwestern BC, this four span plate girder structure was in need of widening and deck replacement.  With careful, detailed analysis, it was determined that a new wider composite deck could safely be constructed on the existing girders.  CWMM devised an innovative scheme allowing the bridge to remain operational throughout the entire deck replacement operation.
